Headlines of Old

Female Convicts Trove Tuesday 29th Aug 2023….

Female convicts formed a large part of the workforce in the new colony, as well as many of them becoming married either to their employer, or if both were considered of showing good behaviour, some married a fellow convict. They don't seem to feature as often in the summaries of our history as the males do... then again, there were far more males than females.

Feel free to share… the title is the link..

Exploring Your Roots Genealogy Course

COURSE INFORMATION

Do you want to learn more about researching your family history with a particular focus on Northern Irish and Irish records?

The next Exploring Your Roots 10-week Genealogy course will give you the tools and knowledge that you need. It starts on Tue 03 October and will run for 2 hours each week.

As it will be delivered via Zoom, distance is no object. In addition to comprehensive course materials, you will have access to the recorded sessions to facilitate those who can't attend or where time zones make attendance difficult.

This is the 10th genealogy course delivered by Natalie Bodle from Roots Revealed. She is a professional genealogist from County Antrim, Northern Ireland and a regular speaker on Irish genealogy topics on the local, national and international circuits.
