* PERSONAL NEWS....

 There is a new addition to three of my blogs so far... do you notice anything on the left hand side column? Subtle aren't I?

I am so honoured and so excited to be awarded the SILVER ROCK STAR GENEALOGIST 2015
award by my readers and peers and all who voted for me. I was excited to be nominated, but couldn't quite believe it when I saw my name in the Australian /New Zealand Category as rated SILVER, just behind GOLD winner Jill Ball (GeniAus) and just ahead of joint BRONZE winners, Shauna Hicks and Thomas MacEntee... good company indeed.

 You can read about it here... http://astheywere.blogspot.com.au/2015/09/exciting-news.html  and find all the details by checking the list of relevant posts on John D. Reid's blog Anglo Celtic Connections..

Many thanks to all who voted, for all the lovely congratulations and messages and the support of family, friends, peers (many of whom appear in the Top 10 list), followers, readers and fellow family historians/genealogists.

 Congratulations to all nominated, you are all Rock Stars... and many Thanks to John D. Reid for conducting his event from 2012-2015 and continuing... it takes a great deal of work and time, so do support him by visiting his blog, you won't be disappointed.
