NOTE: ArchivesSearch will be undergoing maintenance from 5.00pm Friday 6 August and will be unavailable until 1.00pm Sunday 8 August. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Other services such as Flickr and Q-Album will continue to be available.
During the lockdown period you can still search the collection through ArchivesSearch, enjoy images and snippets of Queensland history on Facebook and Instagram, and we have many great archival videos on Youtube. You may also enjoy our latest online album that showcases over 900 digitised glass plate negatives from the wonderful Queensland Rail Heritage Collection.

From 3 August, the research centre will be open at our temporary location in the Peter Durack Building in Mitchell. You will need to book a visit and request records at least 5 business days in advance.
We expect to reopen the refurbished research centre at National Office, ACT, in mid-September.
