Thanks as always dear Chris for a most interesting fossick through your smorgasbord of goodies. I particularly liked the book blogs and the recommended podcasts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, Alex. It's always good to know what segments individual readers enjoy. As you can see, the book blogs always feature strongly..though I do try to cover a variety of stories, etc. to cater for as many as possible.
ReplyDeleteWell I thought I would just drop in for a moment today to see how you are...an hour later I have finally made it to the bottom of the post, having learned a lot about the first Americans coming around by the coast, the story of slavery data base, organizing for genealogy, and lace smugglers, among other things. My to-do list for today is still undone, but I feel refreshed! Thanks, Chris!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you dropped by, Gwen... now you can understand why it takes me so long to select what to include each week... Of course, I also have a file of what I couldn't include... (or you'd need a week to read them) but which I want to follow up personally. I get to those on the last day of the month, sort what needs keeping, and what can be omitted.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you when I posted the item about the lace smugglers... only because of your passion for fabrics of course! Thanks for your comment.
