* GENERAL INTEREST
The Reading Room will remain open during the construction period from 22 July to 24 August however, the Reader’s Lounge and kitchen facilities will be closed. There will intermittent loud noises and vibrations as a result of demolition and construction works. Our Preservation staff will need to be relocated for the duration of the project, so we will not be taking any new orders for preservation treatments during the construction period. From 28 July to 2 August the upper carpark will be closed to the public and alternative carpark spaces will be provided. Please take note of carpark signage when you arrive, drive at the speed limit and beware of pedestrians.
We apologise for the inconvenience, but hope you take time to enjoy the courtyard when the renovations are completed.
