FRIDAY FOSSICKING 30TH Nov.-7th Dec. 2018

FRIDAY FOSSICKING

J. Miller MARSHALL (22 November 1858 - 12-Jun-1935)
died in Minehead, England. PUBLIC DOMAIN.

Apologies to all looking for Friday Fossicking last week.. thanks to an extended power outage caused by an incredible wind storm, I was unable to read, compile or post, so this week's issue is a combination of what I had started and what I have found this week. Plenty to keep you busy for awhile.

Thankfully, we are safe and the house undamaged by the massive tree branch that knocked out our power lines...though it did fall far too close to our front door. We were very grateful to the Energex crew, who made it safe and cut up the debris dragging it to the side, giving us a clear exit.

  1. Glad you weren't hurt by the tree branch! We had that happen too and were without electricity for a week.
I was very interested in the DNA- you're the product article. I have been wondering about that. Also appreciated the link about protecting your genealogy research!

  2. Thank you. Not much fun is it.... more frustrating as it was during one of the hottest weeks in ages, and the huge amount of food wasted. I was very interested in that article also re DNA.
As for genealogy research, I think we're always looking for ways to protect it.
Thank you so much for your feedback, we all like to know what others are interested in.
